RCSA unveiled our 29th Kingdom for Kids Playground at the YWCA thanks to the generosity of the Najim Foundation. Providing safe and fun places to play takes on new meaning when the project is planted at the YWCA’s new Women’s Live and Learn Center, a place for holistic healing and fresh starts for young moms and children. Thanks to Kingdom for Kids Founder and Past President Rick Cavender for the vision of ensuring every Child has a safe and beautiful place to play.
Together with RCSA, City Year, Cutrite Landscaping, Joeris Construction, Cavender Auto Family and Playgrounds Etc., in 2 short days with over 100 volunteers, we completed 2 play structures, a children’s playhouse and a beautiful reading theater with backdrop murals designed by Past President Paul Garro, along with a white brick labyrinth, and a newly landscaped memorial garden.

We proudly dedicated trees in a memorial garden in honor of Rotarians who will always be in our hearts: Robert “Mo” Morehead and Art Riklin.
