SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The 33rd Annual Alamo Heights Night® celebration will take place on Friday April 12th, 5:30pm to 11:30pm at the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word at 4301 Broadway.
 
“Party Time in ’09”®, as the event has been nicknamed (“09” being the last two digits of the Alamo Heights zip code), is known for its vast selection of eats from some of San Antonio’s favorite restaurants as well as traditional Fiesta fare. Mouthwatering selections will include fajitas, burgers, Texas style BBQ and more. Bexar Catering will serve up the always popular chickenon-a-stick. Adults can enjoy selections from GLI Distributing such as Dos Equis in the beergarden and there will be a wine garden as well.
 
Two stages will feature live music throughout the evening from bands such as Hotcakes, Skyrocket, Finding Friday, Brandon Michael Band, a Mariachi Band and more. The festive atmosphere will be family-friendly as the carnival midway will captivate kids of all ages.
 
Admission is free for children under 12 and for all active duty and reserve military with a valid ID. Tickets are $5 for ages 12-17 and students with a valid ID, and $15 for adults. All ticket sales will take place at the event site (no advanced sales). Free park and ride service available from Alamo Heights Methodist Church, Alamo Heights High School, and Incarnate Word High School. Shuttles will run from 5:15pm until 12 midnight. Parking will also be available in the AT&T lot at Hildebrand & Broadway.
 
Security screening will be in place at all entrances. Bags/containers larger than 12”x12”x6” are prohibited (with the exception of materials for use for babies or health reasons). The Alamo Heights Rotary Club has raised over $2,000,000 in support of non- profit organizations and community service activities since its inception. Alamo Heights Night®, an official Fiesta® event since 2014, is their largest fund raiser, organized by over 100 volunteer Rotarians who head numerous committees and recruit 600+ volunteers to make the event a success.
