Just in time for Thanksgiving, the Rotary Club of Alamo Ranch partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to support one of the most vulnerable groups in our community: local seniors facing food insecurity. Rotarians were joined by veterans and young adults from several nonprofit organizations, creating an energetic, intergenerational team committed to Service Above Self.

Together, volunteers sorted, assembled, and packed specialized food boxes tailored to senior nutritional needs.
The team’s impact was extraordinary:
• 1,028 boxes packed
• 32,896 pounds of food
• 26,317 meals provided to elderly residents across San Antonio

The project was filled with teamwork, laughter, and purpose. Volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to connect with one another while knowing their efforts would bring comfort to thousands of seniors during the holiday season.
The Rotary Club of Alamo Ranch is proud to continue supporting the San Antonio Food Bank and remains committed to uplifting our community through hands-on service.
