The Boerne Sunrise Rotary Club was recently voted “Best of the Best” non-profit clubs for the top volunteer organization in Kendall County by subscribers to “The Boerne Star”. Subscribers could vote for one of five local organizations in this category for the best volunteer non-profit club. This is an annual event sponsored by the local newspaper
According to The Boerne Star over 5,000 responses were tallied in 73 different categories to determine the first, second, and third-place winners. In total there were 239 business names listed for their participation and reception in the community. The Boerne Sunrise Rotary Club volunteers and supports several agencies which help meet the needs of families in the community. The club actively supports the Boerne Independent School District by sponsoring youth services.
