The Rotary Club of Blanco County held its annual Joe Garcia Memorial Golf Tournament, Raffle and Silent Auction on May 5th at Vaaler Creek Golf Club. The tournament is the club’s major fundraiser and more money was raised than was even anticipated!
The additional revenue has allowed the club, this year, to increase the number of scholarships to Blanco County graduates from six to seven. The winning team was Carter Creek Winery/Old 290 Brewery (pictured here); second place went to Texas Cannon; and the third place team was Broadway Bank Wimberley. Thanks to all the sponsors, donors and golfers who came out despite the rainy day!
