Boerne Sunrise Rotary has sponsored the creation of an Interact Club at Boerne High School.
All Interact Clubs are part of the Rotary International organization, and every club must be sponsored by a Rotary Club. Interact gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects. Along the way, Interactors develop their leadership skills and initiative while meeting new friends.
Interact clubs organize at least two service projects a year: one that benefits their community and one that encourages international understanding. For their first service project the Interact Club at Boerne High School prepared Christmas gifts for distribution to the children at the Annual Rotary Christmas Party at the Shady Rest Mobile Home Park in Boerne on Dec. 17.
