On Saturday, members of the Airport Rotary Club came together for a special service project with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, located at 10616 Sentinel Street. The project’s mission is to ensure that no child sleeps on the floor by building and delivering beds for families in need.
Rotarians joined volunteers from the community to cut, sand, and assemble beds — all while sharing fellowship and the spirit of Service Above Self. This hands-on effort provided children with not only a bed to sleep in, but also comfort, dignity, and a sense of belonging.
The event reflected why Rotary serves: to make a positive impact in our community and bring hope to those who need it most.
