Through focused and intentional collaboration, members of 4 Boerne area Rotary Clubs – collectively known as the Fab 4 – organized a wildly successful Crawfish Boil on May 14th at the San Antonio Rose Palace. The event included complimentary crawfish for all attendees, an auction featuring one-of-a-kind trophy hunts at a beautiful Texas ranch, and an Austin-based live band which proved to be a fan favorite and brought down the house!
The Boerne Sunrise Rotary, Boerne Noon Rotary, Fair Oaks Rotary and San Antonio Dominion clubs joined forces to promote the event, plan the details, purchase and cook the food, showcase their individual Rotary clubs, and engage with prospective new Rotarians. As a first-time collaborative membership outreach event, the 4 clubs were thrilled to welcome the 150-200 participants who came to enjoy food, fellowship and learn more about Rotary. As a direct result of this outreach event, the clubs anticipate increased membership in their respective Rotary organizations, proving the effectiveness of collective action!
