Just like that, another successful Rotary year has come to a close.   Please join me in extending heartfelt thanks to Immediate Past District Governor Kristen Salazar and her leadership team for their dedication and hard work in continuing to position our District as strong, vibrant, and impactful. They truly demonstrated The Magic of Rotary.
As we turn the page to a new Rotary year, our goals as a District and as club leaders should be to build on the strengths and successes of the past while continuing to grow and evolve. With that in mind, I’d like to offer three key ideas for your club to consider as you plan for the year ahead:

1. Be Innovative in Membership Growth
Rotary International now recognizes a variety of club models, including satellite clubs and companion clubs. These alternatives can offer flexibility and accessibility that attract new members and help retain current ones whose lives and schedules may have changed. Think creatively about how your club can meet people where they are.

2. Plan for Continuity
Just as our District follows a strategic Three-Year Plan and a succession of governors, your club should also develop a flexible long-term plan. Early identification of future leaders allows them time to grow into their roles. A three-year outlook gives your club a roadmap that can be adjusted as needed, while maintaining momentum and direction.

3. Explore Strategic Partnerships
Look beyond your club walls. Partnering with other Rotary clubs, districts, businesses, professional groups, chambers of commerce, and academic institutions can open doors to new service projects, leadership opportunities, and membership growth. Collaboration expands both impact and visibility.

As we embrace this new year together, let’s remember when we Unite for Good—Let’s Keep the Good Times Rolling!
