November is Rotary Foundation Month, a time when Rotarians across the world celebrate and strengthen one of the most impactful charitable organizations on the planet: The Rotary Foundation. Established in 1917, the Foundation has grown into a global engine for service, advancing Rotary’s mission to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, grow local economies, and protect the environment.

Every project supported by the Foundation reflects our shared commitment to creating lasting change in our communities and around the world.

The most iconic example of this work is PolioPlus. Through the perseverance of Rotary and our global partners, polio cases have been reduced by more than 99 percent, and we continue the fight until eradication is achieved. This success demonstrates what is possible when we combine vision, resources, and determination.

This year, our Rotary International Presidential theme, Unite for Good, calls us to strengthen the bonds of fellowship and collaboration that make Rotary unique. Foundation Month is the perfect opportunity to reflect on how uniting our passion and our generosity accelerates good in the world. Contributions to the Annual Fund and Endowment Fund directly empower clubs like ours to design and deliver projects that uplift people in meaningful and measurable ways.

When we give to The Rotary Foundation, we are not simply making a donation. We are investing in clean water for families, literacy for children, safety for first responders, and hope for those who need it most. We unite across borders, cultures, and professions, living out Rotary’s core belief that service transforms lives.

As we observe Foundation Month, let us renew our commitment to Unite for Good by giving, engaging, and sharing the story of Rotary. Through the Foundation, our collective service becomes a global force for peace, progress, and compassion.
