I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!  The District has grown by a net of 14 members, as of 12/31/21, after many clubs purged their membership prior to January 1st.  This is a shout-out to the clubs with positive growth:  Ballinger, Blanco, Boerne Noon, Brady, Canyon Lake, Del Rio, Fair Oaks, Fbg Morning, Fbg Nimitz, Fbg Noon, Hondo D'Hanis, New Braunfels Downtown, Poteet, Rancolph Metrocom, San Antonio Airport, San Antonio Alamo Ranch, San Antonio Mission Trail, San Antonio, Northeast, San Antonio Oak Hills, San Marcos & San Saba.
Many other clubs were successful in recruiting new members, however, they lost an equal or greater number of members who left their club for various reasons.  We also had one club, the 5840 Passport Club lose their charter.  We thank those members for looking at membership in other clubs.

Keep the fire burning under the "Each One Bring One" initiative!  If we are going to be successful in increasing membership, we must keep talking about the importance of new members.  They will provide us with fresh energy, diversity, new innovative ideas and the power to help us "Grow More to Do More!"

"Lose No Members!" The start of 2022 is a great time to make personal contact with each existing member & friend.  Make a personal call, take a non-active member to Rotary with you.  Invite each member to get involved with an upcoming Service Project and login or attend a meeting.  Everyone Reconnect!!!  Let's stay engaged!

Are you personally proud to be a Rotarian?  Do you wear your pin regularly?  Who have you invited to come to a meeting this year? I hope that everyone in the District invites one person to a meeting or service project in the next six months.  Looking at your friendship circle, I know there are many friends who would make great Rotarians!  Do you have family members who are not yet making a difference in this world by giving back? Invite them to try Rotary!

Are your personal social media accounts being utilized? Do you share posts from your Club's page to your personal page?  Do you post pictures and information about the service projects you are working on?  During my club visits these last six months, I have been so proud to see what a difference Rotarians are making in their communities.  Each club is different, but all are inspired by the idea of Service Above Self!  Tell the story - share your success!

Please participate in a January Human Trafficking Month activity!  "Wear Blue" on January 11th to help build awareness about Rotary's support in the fight to End Human Trafficking!  Consider volunteering or providing financial support for a non-profit organization in your community serving the trafficked population.  Participate in a community awareness campaign and promote with posters & news articles.  Print and display posters at your business about the "Wear Blue" campaign!

Need more info or artwork?  Here is some great information and links to statistics, articles and campaign materials.   We can all easily "Wear Blue" on January 11th, take pictures and then share them with local & social media!
