The Program for Excellence in Selling Spring Golf Open Tournament is an event held to provide real-world selling experience to upcoming business professionals who are part of an advanced sales training program.
The tournament is the largest non-profit golf tournament in Houston, Texas held at the Kingwood Country Club. To pass their semester, 54 students were required to sell sponsorships, donations, and players for the tournament. The District 5840 Combat Human Trafficking Rotary Club donated $5,000.00  to the Institutes Tournament this Spring, which helped the students hit their quota, raised funds for players and students to wear Rotary sponsored golf polos for the event, and ensured each student in the program moves to the next semester with an educational scholarship. The tournament was a major success with over 500+ players in attendance and 136K raised by the students for their program and education! The District 5840 Combat Human Trafficking Club is proud of the students for their efforts and wishes them success in their journey while hoping they carry the values of Rotary onward in their professional lives.
