December is Disease Prevention & Treatment Month.  What a great time our clubs had in October coming together to raise funds for Polio Plus.  Polio Eradication continues to be one of our main goals as an organization.  Kudos to all the clubs that held a Polio fundraising event and/or helped to share information about this disease.

Of course, COVID 19 is still out there, with new variants probable.  Rotary supports the COVID 19 vaccine while still honoring an individual's right to choose.  We are working with organizations across the world to help get the vaccine to all individuals in all countries.  We have mourned the loss of friends and family to this disease, but continue to work together as Rotarians committed to Disease Prevention & Treatment.
Big thanks to all the clubs that focused on Foundation giving during November!  We have an aggressive but achievable goal of raising $225K for the Foundation and $51K for Polio Plus this year.  Several of our clubs encourage giving by scheduling a "Foundation Moment" during their meetings each month.  With the Rotary Magazine, it is very easy to find a special story to share and give a testimony on the difference that Rotary is making all over the world!  PPG Xavier Toson is also available to come speak to clubs about the Foundation.  Email him with your request and date.

Finally, this is a season of caring for one another and celebrating!  The gift of love and friendship are so amazing and something that no "supply chain challenge" can interrupt.  The gift of Rotary Fellowship is such a blessing to me!  God Bless all of you, thank you for your service to your communities and Rotary.  Share your love and smiles with all you meet! Happy New Year!
