The Fair Oaks Ranch Club annually provides Career and Technical Education Scholarships to high school seniors from the Boerne Independent School District. This year it awarded three $2,000 scholarships and the winners were all from Boerne Champion High School.
The students, their college choice and planned majors include: Cameron L. Bourgeois, Texas State Technical College, Major: Diesel Mechanics; Emerson K. Clarke, Texas State University, Major: Nursing; Thomas E. Sanin, Texas State Technical College, Major: Welding.
