Might not sound like much, but those are HUGE numbers when you’re packing food at the San Antonio Food Bank where we sorted between 6 and 7 tons of vital support for those struggling with hunger in our community. Founded in 1980, the San Antonio Food Bank serves one of the largest and most diverse service areas and supports 100,000 residents every week.
More than 10,000 meals will land on San Antonians’ tables from just a few hours volunteering where the San Antonio Food Bank is “Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope.” That’s food for thought!
