Jourdanton Community Scholarships began in 1985 with 15 local business men and women donating $100 from each business to three recipients, each receiving $500. The scholarship group grew quickly and finally turned the funds over to the Jourdanton Rotary Club.
Since 1985, 42 years ago, the organization has awarded $143,500 to Jourdanton High School Seniors. This year we added $11,400 to that total to some very worthy students for a total of $155,000!
