sports. “This is a project near and dear to my heart. Last year we learned that some of the athletes at Ingram Tom Moore could not afford socks to wear to practice and used the same socks they wore to school. We wanted to provide socks to these young people without singling any one person out, so we simply provided socks to all! We owe a big thanks to Mike and Debbie Neutze, owners of Neu-Mart Convenience Stores. They learned about this project and graciously provided the funds to purchase the socks. This giving spirit is what makes our community so special,” said Ray Buck, Morning Rotary President.
Ingram I.S.D. Superintendent, Dr. Robert “Bobby” Templeton, Ingram Tom Moore High School Principal; Justin Crittenden; and, coaching staff were on hand to assist Morning Rotarians in the initial sock distribution to the football team.
“THANK YOU! We are so blessed to have the Kerrville Morning Rotary come along side our student athletes with the sock distribution this morning. We had a lot of young people head home with a smile on their face and socks in their hands. It was a very generous gesture. Ms. (Nancy) Riley was so encouraging, accommodating and supportive in her efforts in setting up the event. God Bless her! Ingram Tom Moore athletics is very appreciative,” said Coach Duane Kroeker
