For Maternal and Child Health Month, the Rotary Club of Wilson County sponsored a “Baby Shower” for the South Texas Pregnancy Center, a non-profit organization that provides compassionate care to pregnant women and their families. They offer free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds during the first trimester, and Prenatal & Parenting Classes.
By attending classes, expected mothers earn credits to shop free of charge in the baby boutique. The baby boutique operates by donations only. The club was able to provide some baby necessities for expected mothers and families.
