Fredericksburg Morning Rotary Club’s 13th Annual Kraut Run, featuring 8K and 5K timed runs and a 5K Walk will be held Saturday, October 1st at 8:30 am.
The start/finish at the Fredericksburg Middle School at 110 W. Travis St. Kraut Run is a stroller and pet friendly event - pets on leashes please - and offers a post-run/walk party with sausage and sauerkraut, beer and water. Participants can register online at OktoberfestKrautRun.com Proceeds support Fredericksburg Morning Rotary literacy and youth programs including Books for Babies, Our Time to Enjoy Reading, Teacher Supply Cabinets, Dictionaries for 3rd Graders, and Vocational Scholarships.
