The City of Del Rio, Texas had 11.2 inches of snowfall on February 18, 2021. This was a historic record of snow for this date and many persons in the community were out of power and water, due to the freezing temperatures.
Rotarian Eddie Amezcua, Jr. (not pictured) and his team at Skillets Restaurant (center), Rotarian & Property Manager Gregorio Arrambide, Jr. (on the left), and property employee Lisa Gallegos (on the right) came to the rescue. They provided and delivered over 50 meals and fruit to senior citizens who reside at Las Brisas Manor, who were snowed in as well as without power for three days.
