The Dominion Rotary Club of San Antonio, in partnership with the San Antonio South Rotary Club, joined forces with the young leaders of Salado Elementary’s Early Act Club to support a schoolwide food drive and service presentation, demonstrating Rotary’s commitment to developing future leaders through hands‑on community engagement.
As part of the collaborative effort, the Dominion Rotary Club collected blankets and socks for residents of the Wellsential Rehab Center, ensuring comfort and care for individuals in need. The project provided Early Act students with a meaningful opportunity to learn the value of service, compassion, and leadership while making a tangible impact in their community.
“This partnership reflects the heart of Rotary,” club representatives shared. “By working alongside these remarkable Early Act students, we’re not only meeting immediate needs but also helping shape the next generation of service‑minded leaders.”
The initiative highlights the growing reach of the Dominion Rotary Club as it continues to welcome new members and expand its presence across the community. Through projects like this, the club models Rotary’s guiding principle of Service Above Self, striving to improve the community and enhance the lives of others through purposeful action.
The Dominion Rotary Club remains committed to supporting youth leadership programs, strengthening community partnerships, and advancing service projects that uplift individuals and families throughout the San Antonio area.
