Aguascalientes Rotary Eye Clinic 30th Anniversary - Our then District Governor Bill Thorsby helped cut the ribbon on the creation of an eye clinic for the underserved people of central Mexico—and thirty years later we continue supporting it through Rotary Foundation global grants for medical equipment.
You are reading this as a prompt for your club to join Boerne Sunrise as they raise funds in 2021-2022 for cornea surgery equipment for the clinic and an opportunity for you to appreciate engagement in an international project.

District Rotarians have made dozens of site visits to the clinic in order to see firsthand the impact of a new project and learn of future needs.  I went in 2008 with a group led by Robert Cisneros from Boerne Sunrise and Past RI President Frank Devlyn was there learning about the value of this great Rotary endeavor.  Site visits for this and most Rotary projects are self-funded, but well worth it for those looking to drink the Rotary Kool-Aid
