We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone in our journey of service and community enhancement! Del Rio Rotarians, as people of action, have come together to trans-form the Del Rio Pocket Park from a simple adoption into a full-fledged project that we can all be proud of.
From the initial parkland adoption to the completion of accessible re-strooms, water fountains, and picnic tables, we’ve worked tirelessly to create a welcoming space for everyone in our community. Notably, this park stands as Del Rio’s first and only downtown park with open public restrooms, marking a significant step forward for our city.
While there are still many more exciting developments on the horizon, we’re thrilled to celebrate the completion of two stages of our project. None of this would have been possible without the dedication, sup-port, and hard work of each and every person who assisted, attended, dug, cleaned, and cheered us on along the way.
