San Antonio Northwest Rotary is making a big impact on the environment through the City of San Antonio’s Adopt-a-Spot program. What started with five clean-up locations has now expanded to 45 adopted sites—including parks, medians, and roadside areas—kept clean by dedicated Rotarians throughout the year.
Each location is cleaned four times annually, totaling 180 city service projects this Rotary year. The club documents every effort in detailed reports, tracking trash collected, recyclables sorted, and even unusual finds like car parts and tires. Their commitment to service is keeping San Antonio cleaner, greener, and a shining example of Rotary’s “Service Above Self.”
