The Rotary Club of San Marcos announces La Cima, a beautiful community located between San Antonio and Austin, as the title sponsor for the 16th annual Scramble 4 Scholarships fundraising golf tournament on May 16 at the Kissing Tree Golf Club. The official lunch sponsor for the event is Divided Sky Roofing and Solar. Scott Yarbrough, chair of the May 16 event, said he is grateful for the strong support for this fundraiser.
“The event brings the community together for a very fun event,” Yarbrough said. “It’s very gratifying to know that our scholarships are contributing to the education of outstanding students. The tournament is yet another event that allows community leaders to network.”
Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for local high school graduates to attend college or a vocational program. Rotary usually awards 10 to 12 scholarships to local San Marcos area high school students.
