The Rotary Club of Uvay proudly celebrated the grand opening of the Ox Ranch Splash Pad with a Festival on May 9, 2026, at Jardin de los Héroes Park. After the dedication and hard work of four Rotary presidents, the long-awaited community 1.8 million dollar project is finally complete and officially open to the public. The festival brought together local families, community members, and vendors for a day filled with celebration, laughter, and excitement as children enjoyed the splash pad for the very first time.
The splash pad was created to provide a safe, fun, and family-friendly space for the community to gather and enjoy for years to come. One of the most rewarding moments for Rotary members was seeing the smiles and laughter of children throughout the day. Even more meaningful was driving by the park on Mother’s Day and seeing families barbecuing together while children continued enjoying the splash pad — a true reminder of why this project mattered so much to the community. The Rotary Club of Uvalde extends its gratitude to Ox Ranch, community supporters, donors, volunteers, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.
