Larry Richard is a disabled Vietnam Veteran who currently uses a walker and possibly will need to use a wheelchair in the future. However, his house was not handicap accessible so Fredericksburg VFW Post 7105 worked with Towers for Troops and Purple Heart Home,
to raise enough money to renovate his house to make it handicap accessible and other improvements to his house. Fredericksburg Nimitz Rotary was responsible for the clean-up and painting the outside of the house.
