District 5840 is getting ready to walk for a polio-free world! On October 24, Rotarians, family members and friends will gather at beautiful Enchanted Rock to participate in the World’s Largest Polio Walk and support Rotary’s mission to End Polio Now.
And this year, we have something special to help us show our Rotary spirit—a special District 5840 T-shirt created specifically for the World’s Largest Polio Walk!

Put on your District 5840 T-shirt, lace up your walking shoes and join fellow Rotarians as we come together for this important cause.
The shirts will make a great visual statement as District 5840 members gather at Enchanted Rock—walking together and showing our commitment to a polio-free world.
Plan Ahead for Enchanted Rock
Because Enchanted Rock has limited vehicle capacity, participants should make their Texas Parks & Wildlife Department vehicle reservation for October 24 as soon as possible.
Reservations are made by vehicle, not by individual. One vehicle reservation can include one or multiple occupants, so carpooling is encouraged.
Each person entering the park must also pay the required Enchanted Rock admission fee.
District 5840 will have a pavilion with approximately 25 designated parking spaces, with the possibility of accommodating additional vehicles in the area. Participants using the pavilion parking area will still need to pay the park admission fee.

Once you're inside Enchanted Rock, you're welcome to explore and walk throughout the park—including the newly opened areas.
