District Governor Kristy Vandenberg's October Message
October means cooler weather, falling colorful leaves, Rotary Economic & Community Development Month and, of course, World Polio Day, Sunday October 24th.  
Let’s talk Polio!  We are literally so close to eradicating this disease. Only two (2) new cases of Polio have been reported this year from January thru September. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supports our efforts with a 2:1 match for every dollar we raise!  Once again our goal for the US is $50M raised, for a total of $150 after matching funds!

Morgan's Wonderland 2021 "MORE DELIGHTFUL THAN FRIGHTFUL" Halloween
Are we ready to help our currently projected attendance of  2500 handicapped children at Morgan's Wonderland on Halloween evening October 31, 2021?  Hopefully the answer is - YES WE ARE!!  We are so excited since this year we are BACK IN THE PARK!

Fredericksburg Nimitz Rotary had two fundraisers in one day on Labor Day.
San Saba Celebrates World Polio Day with Purple Pinky Day
San Saba Rotary will help raise funds for Polio with their 3rd annual Purple Pink Game Oct 15th at San Saba Football Field "The Grave Yard" in their home game against Winters.

Fair Oaks Ranch helps Save the Environment 
The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch recently partnered with the city to conduct a Hazardous Waste Disposal event in order to protect its beautiful land, atmosphere, and abundant wildlife.
