Wow, what an amazing Rotary District 5840 District Conference! We had 200 Rotarian's from the District attend this event at the UTSA R.A.C.E. center. A special thank you to PDG Jan Livingston (District Conference Chair) and the entire District Conference Committee for doing such an amazing job in organizing the event. Clearly, an event this size can not happen without a committee doing great work up front, during and after the conference.

Cindy Turner presents a check for $2,400 to Hope Mitchell from Meals for Vets. The club raised money at Texas Heritage Vineyards' quarterly Vino and Bingo for a Cause event held in March. We offered Irish Stew by donation and raffled some great gift baskets.

The Winston School Interact Club traveled to Poteet Friday, April 14, 2023 to help the Poteet HS Interact Club with their Nacho and Pink Lemonade booth at the Poteet Strawberry Festival.
After several years of COVID delays and challenges, the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch has successfully reconstituted the Interact Club at Champion High School in Boerne. Pictured at the recent reactivation ceremony are the Rotary Club Youth Committee leaders along with the new Interact student members.
March 27 - 31, 2023 was Beautify Serna Week at San Antonio NEISD's Serna Elementary School. The Airport Rotary Club donated soil and plants for the entray way project. Club Secretary Pete Siegel delivered the topsoil and the plumbago and red yucca plants. Parents and teachers donated the other plants seen in the photo.
The Rotary Club of San Marcos awarded scholarships to nine area seniors from San Marcos High School and Hill Country Christian School. The awards are for the 2023-2024 school year. Students may use the scholarships for either college or vocational education programs.
Members of the San Antonio Northeast Rotary Club volunteered alongside with their fellow Rotarians in the Randolph Metrocom Rotary Club at the 13th annual GRASP Western Night on Thursday, March 16th.
Once again the Alamo Heights High School Interact Club officers were on hand to put smiles on the faces of the children who came out to AH Night year. . The Interactors have been providing temporary tattoes to the children for several years now. The club is sponsored by the Alamo Heights Rotary Club.

We clipped, trimmed, raked, and help clean the campus. The Yellow Bell Esparanzas we planted several years ago survived the freezes and are growing.
