This Halloween, Canyon Lake High School's Interact Club joined forces with local Rotarians as well as businesses and other charity groups in town, to pass out candy to Children coming to the Sattler township annual Halloween main street party. This gathering of local businesses and clubs is a way for children to enjoy Halloween in a fun and safe environment.

In 1872 the first Arbor Day was celebrated and in 1885 it became an official state holiday. By the 1920s, each state in the United States had passed public laws that stipulated a certain day to be Arbor Day. Boerne’s Rotarians have a special way of celebrating this day.
The Rotary Club of San Marcos presented a $5,000 donation to board members of San Marcos School Fuel on November 6. School Fuel provides food to 1,400 K-12 school children on weekends and holidays when regular school meal programs are not operating. The Rotary Club of Blanco County President Doug McKenzie presented a check for $1,000 to Kathie Estrada member of the Blanco County Veterans Memorial Committee. The funds will go toward the pedestal which honors the US Space Force at the Blanco County Veterans Memorial located at 300 N. Nugent Street, Johnson City, TX.
The Rotary Club of New Braunfels recently wrapped up their largest fundraiser of the year, clearing over $225,000 in sales of their world famous kartoffelpuffer (German potato pancake) during Wurstfest 2024.
150 Rotarians and 120 volunteers covered 512 shifts over 100 hours during the 10 Day Salute to Sausage, serving up 15,512 orders of potato pancakes, 7,507 sausages, and 3,831 bottles of water from the club's popular food booth – always a Wurstfest favorite.
The Beeville Rotary Club Members donated canned food to be given to the local food pantry, the Vineyard. The need for food has increased as food costs have increased. The Beeville Rotarians hope to ease the financial burdens of those needing food.
Nurturing Hope -San Antonio is a partnership initiated by The Rotary Club of San Antonio in collaboration with 3 major universities - Alamo Colleges, UTSA and Trinity University together with the H.E. The Rotary Club of San Marcos is sponsoring a diamond raffle to raise funds for local service projects. This is the 2nd annual diamond raffle. Last year's event raised the funds the were donated to Rise Against Hunger, San Marcos School Fuel, and the local Food Bank.
Fair Oaks Ranch Rotarians get some FOR Elementary students fired up about "Service Above Self". The students formed an EA club complete with officers and agendas. Recently, our members came to their meeting, telling the students about the community service activities they can participate in!
The Rotary Club of Wimberley is happy to announce the winner and runner up of the first Danforth Rotary Loves Readers contest of the school year. The runner up was 8th grader, Chandler Lujan who received $50. The winner of a crisp $100 bill was 8th grader, Nathan Winn.
This holiday season, the Rotary Club of San Antonio South partnered with Salado Elementary to bring hope and joy to families in need. Recognizing the challenges faced by low-income households during this festive time, the Club organized a food distribution project to ensure that every family could enjoy a traditional holiday meal with dignity and joy.
Operation Stockings Stuffer: #TeamPearl collected items to put in Christmas stockings for our troops abroad with Soldier’s Angels, a 501 (c) 3 that supports our Military members and families stationed here and abroad.
Last year, members of the Rotary Club of New Braunfels organized a charitable Fantasy Football League to have a real world impact on a charity of their choice. Now in it's second year, these do-gooders each again selected a nonprofit that they are playing for and the winner's organization will receive a $1,000 check at the end of the season!

San Marcos Rotary worked with Texas State University Rotaract and the San Marcos CISD to sponsor a workshop on child sex trafficking. The event was held on November 11.
