I am incredibly grateful for the support of the Rotary Global Grant, which has allowed me to pursue my master's in International Development at I.E.University in Madrid, Spain. This journey has been transformative, offering both academic growth and international exposure.
This December three Rotary Clubs participated in their annual Breakfast for Santa. The Rotary Club of Boerne, Boerne Sunrise and the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks hosted over 200 children for breakfast, crafts, cookie decorating and a visit with Santa.
Several Beeville Rotary Club members answered the call for service on a cold and wet Saturday morning. Club members and friends of Rotary gathered to clean the trash along a busy road in Beeville. The club performs this service several times a year.

The Rotary Club of San Antonio recently hosted a year-end gathering to celebrate the success of its Seeds of Hope International Peace Leadership Academy (Northern Ireland) and its Texas offshoot, Nurturing Hope San Antonio. Both programs focus on fostering leadership and promoting Rotary’s positive peace.
Rotarians from the Blanco County Club lit up a trailer and joined in the lighted holiday parade in Blanco on December 21. It was a fun evening of promoting Rotary and spreading holiday cheer!
The Rotary Club of Medina County have had a couple of busy months completing the Bountiful Blessings project in November and the Share the Joy project in December. The Bountiful Blessings project provided meals, information about local resources for seniors and veterans, and some small gift items to Veterans and Senior Adults.
San Marcos is sponsoring a Casino Night fundraiser with a Mardi Gras theme Feb 28 at the Centex Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Museum at the San Marcos Airport. 75% of the proceeds will benefit an endowment at Texas State University to help kids who went through the foster care system in Texas to afford attending university. The RC of SA Oak Hills and SA West came together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of several families this holiday season. Delivering gifts and bringing Santa Claus to these families, we focused on supporting those in need, especially grandparents caring for their grandchildren.
Fair Oaks Ranch Rotarians proudly present a big check to the Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center which just opened it's new Leon Springs location. It's mission is to promote the value of life and help people make good decisions regarding pregnancy and sexuality.
Members of the Rotary Club of Fredericksburg (TX) celebrate the completion of wrapping Toys for Tots on December 13. Members contributed more than 1,400 hours of service to the project over the week beginning December 9 and culminating with delivery of toys to approximately 600 children in 135 families in Fredericksburg and Gillespie County on December 14. Joining club members were several spouses, Interact students and other volunteers.
The Fredericksburg-Nimitz Rotary provided a prime rib meal to participants in the Wounded Warrior at Nebo organization on December 2nd. After the meal, guests had a front row seat to the annual Light the Night Christmas Parade on Main Street in Fredericksburg.
The Rotary Club of San Angelo presented two checks totaling $21,500 at their regular meeting on December 20, 2024. The Club presented a $5,500 check to the WHIT Program to pay for a video to help them recruit new tutors. The funds came from a $1,500 District Grant and a $4,000 contribution from the Club.
The Jourdanton Interact Club met at Argent Court Assisted Living on Saturday, December 14, 2024. They enjoyed visiting with residents and help making Christmas ornaments.
Members Cindy Turner, Christina Gonzalez and Cindy Eberle from Fredericksburg-Nimitz Rotary made the trip this year to Piedras Negras to pass out gifts and do wellness checks on the children of this small community. The club does this in partnership with Mision de Candellila, a nonprofit Christian based mission.
The Rotary Club of Wimberley is happy to announce the winner and runner up of the second Danforth Jr High Rotary Loves Readers contest of the school year. The runner up was 6th grader Ryan Lambert who received $50. The winner of a crisp $100 bill was 8th grader, Lauren Workman. Congratulations to Lauren and Ryan, and keep reading for a successful future!
The Fair Oaks Ranch Utilities to local children and families. Our members play the part of Santa, the Grinch, and many elves at the recent “Christmas on the Ranch” event. Our club work together with the homeowners association to put on this very successful annual event.
The Rotary Club of Fredericksburg Carolers performed at nine assisted living facilities in Fredericksburg on December 17 and 18, in the third year of this service project. Rotary Club of San Antonio members were thrilled for the opportunity to raise toys for the Stay Strong Foundation, Inc benefiting the Pediatric Patients and Families of University Health! We were honored to welcome the nonprofit President and co-Founder Debi Nieto to our Holiday luncheon with an extra batch of toys!
K’STAR sent a huge THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of Kerrville for their generous support! Our donations will directly benefit K’STAR as a whole this holiday season. We also were able to drop off food with the check.
