On Saturday, members of the Airport Rotary Club came together for a special service project with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, located at 10616 Sentinel Street. The project’s mission is to ensure that no child sleeps on the floor by building and delivering beds for families in need.
Rotary co-presidents Kevin Katz and Sammy Falletta present a $1,700 check to the Hays Food Bank staff on November 12. Additional cash donations occurred later, and Rotary also delivered more than 400 pounds of nonperishable food in October to the Food Bank.
The Rotary Club of Blanco County presented personal dictionaries to each third-grade student in Blanco County (at Blanco and LBJ Elementary Schools). In addition to words and definitions, the dictionaries contain biographies of the American Presidents, facts and figures of Countries and States, and common American Sign Language. The students enjoyed looking up the longest word in the dictionary!
West Kerr Noon Rotary and Ingram Tom Moore HS Interact Club joined together sponsoring a Thanksgiving Food Drive. All donations being given to the Hill Country Veterans Center to help them prepare Thanksgiving Dinner for the community veterans.
On November 6, 2025, volunteers from the San Antonio Airport Rotary Club gathered at the Children’s Bereavement Center, located at 205 W. Olmos, to support families attending evening grief support groups. The purpose of the project was to provide hands-on assistance by serving dinner—courtesy of the Center— and helping with cleanup, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for children, teens, and families coping with loss.
Fair Oaks Ranch Rotarians assisted Hill Country Family Services and the Christian Men of Boerne again this year at the 26th Annual Turkey Fry the day before Thanksgiving. We enjoyed blue skies and crisp air scented with the delicious smell of 275 Thanksgiving turkeys as we worked to direct traffic at this wonderful event. Happy Thanksgiving to All!
On Thursday, November 20, a group of Rotarian‘s served a Thanksgiving meal for the elderly at Rotary Village. After the lunch, Rotarian‘s went door-to-door, handing out food bags for the residence for the Thanksgiving holiday.
On November 22 the San Antonio North Central Rotary Club along side dedicated members from Winston School Interact Club and volunteers from San Antonio Rotary South came together to continue a cherished annual tradition. Together we packaged and delivered 160 complete turkey dinners to deserving families in our community.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, the Rotary Club of Alamo Ranch partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to support one of the most vulnerable groups in our community: local seniors facing food insecurity. Rotarians were joined by veterans and young adults from several nonprofit organizations, creating an energetic, intergenerational team committed to Service Above Self.

On August 31, 2025, the San Antonio Airport Rotary Club partnered with the Piedras Negras Poniente Rotary Club to support Casa Nazareth Orphanage in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, México. After learning of the orphanage’s urgent needs for improved comfort and essential supplies, the clubs donated a 3-ton mini split air conditioner for the Girls’ Orphanage, a washer for the Boys’ Orphanage, and new tennis shoes and socks for all 24 children.
The Alamo Heights Rotary Club kicked off Wurstfest’s opening weekend in New Braunfels with a unique blend of fellowship, fun, and fundraising. Club members teamed up to make, fry, and sell fresh potato pancakes in support of the New Braunfels Rotary Club’s annual major fundraiser.
Members of the Fredericksburg-Nimitz Rotary shared the story of Rotary and the Four-Way Test with third graders at Fredericksburg Elementary School. The students were given an activity book that presented examples of the four tests and how they may be incorporated in their everyday lives.
The Beeville Rotary Club’s Annual Fight Hunger project wrapped up with great success. Working together, the Interact students from A. C. Jones High School and Beeville Rotary Club members collected more than 550 food items for the local pantry, the Vineyard.
The Rotary Club of Wimberley announced the winner and runner-up of the first Rotary Loves Readers contest of the. 2025-2026 school year on Thursday, November 20. The contests are held quarterly. This challenge asked students to write about a book that influenced their lives, how it influenced them, and about the lessons they learned. The runner up with his entry on White Bird was 6th grader Mason Myane. Mason received a $50 bill. (pictured above)
In the early 1980’s Fredericksburg had a Marine Reserve contingent stationed at the Armory just off US Highway 290 W. With the help of the Fire and Police Departments, the Chamber, and local businesses they provided toys for 20 families with a total of 65 children.
The Rotary Club of San Antonio is honored to be a featured nonprofit in the Light the World Texas Giving Machines this Christmas season [now through Dec 7th at Historic Pearl]!
The Giving Machines are special red vending machines put up during the Christmas season where you can donate special items to those in need through select local and international charities. Help support Rotary's efforts to #EndPolioNow, clean rivers, support our Kingdom for Kids playground builds, provide opportunities for students to go to college, and more!
To show appreciation to first responders, Blanco County Rotarians prepared and delivered a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings to Blanco County EMS, Fire, and Police on November 25.
Our F.O.B (Finding our Brothers) planned a meal for our furloughed families in Del Rio. Many organizations donated items and set up to cook a meal for over 1,700 furloughed individuals.
The Rotary Club of San Marcos donated $5,000 to the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance on November 13. Half of the funds came from a grant from Rotary District 5840 and the rest was raised by Rotary locally. The funds are to be used for materials, signage and tools to construct new and maintain existing trails in San Marcos.
On November 17, San Antonio North Central Rotary Club proudly celebrated an amazing evening at its Annual Foundation Dinner where 13 distinguished members were honored with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Awards. This recognition, named after Paul Harris, founder of Rotary International, highlights the commitment of individuals to service.
The Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary Club has developed a successful partnership with Roy Maas Youth Alternatives at its Boerne Meadowlands location that involves simple golf instructions with lessons in the game of life. Working with RMYA Staff, Club Rotarian & PGA member David Murrah has formulated a 5- week program where he and other FOR members meet with different groups of elementary school-aged boys and girls each Wednesday afternoon for an hour of basic golf fundamentals that concludes with a discussion about how the lessons in a game like golf can apply to the way we talk and interact with each other.
