Thank you to the many Rotarian women and clubs across our District who participated in the Women in Rotary in Action campaign throughout the month of March. The campaign invited Rotarian women to share photos proudly wearing their Rotary shirts as a way to celebrate International Women’s Day and the incredible women who serve through Rotary.
Our Rotary District is growing! We are excited to welcome two new clubs to our Rotary family — the Rotary Club of Wilson County and the Rotary Club of Atascosa County.
Rotary Clubs across our District have been shining this year through the Rotary Rockstar Challenge, showcasing creativity, community connection, and powerful storytelling through their public image efforts. With six levels of challenges, this initiative was designed to help Clubs increase visibility, celebrate impact, and inspire engagement—and it’s been exciting to see the results!
Thirty-five students at Texas State University were inducted into the TxSt Rotaract Club on March 3. Many Rotary Club members were present for the ceremony.
We are so proud of our Fabra Elementary School Early Act Club and their friends from the Viola Wilson Elementary Early Act Club for the massive success of their recent Mac & Cheese drive supporting students within the Boerne Independent School District. This is the third year the Fabra Early Act Club and the first year of the newly formed Early Act Club at Viola Wilson collected Mac & Cheese through a friendly competition.

On Friday, March 13th the Rotary Club of Del Rio Interact Club was official! We are proud of our Ryla attendees who came home and asked how to start an Interact Club and kept on until it was done.
Members of the Fredericksburg Nimitz Rotary along with Fredericksburg VFD and the 100 Club of Gillespie County received recognition at the Fredericksburg City Council meeting for raising money to place AEDs in all local law enforcement vehicles. Nimitz Rotary provided funds for 32 AEDs and the Gillespie County 100 Club provided an additional 4 for Game Wardens.
The dedicated Rotarian Angela Prather took great joy in presenting an array of merit badges to the enthusiastic members of our newly established Scouting America Troop 1024 which the Rotary Club of Del Rio sponsors. These remarkable young ladies are diligently striving to advance in their scouting journeys, showcasing their commitment and hard work.

The article in the monthly publication, which reaches over 4,300 households, spans five pages of in-depth details about the Club and its commitment to serving the Fair Oaks Ranch Community over the years.
The Rotary Club of Fredericksburg Morning recently donated $6000 to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. This was in partnership with the Zonta Club of Fredericksburg, Texas who administer and also help fund the project. Della Zey, a member of the Fredericksburg Morning Rotary Club was the brainchild of this collaboration.
The Rotary Club of San Marcos presented a $20,000 check to the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University that helped endow the “Dick Burdick - Rotary International Scholarship” to benefit students committed to studying international business. The presentation was made on March 25 at the Rotary Club meeting.
Members of the Rotary Club of Fredericksburg came together on Saturday, March 21 to clean up alongside Baron's Creek at Frantzen Park in Fredericksburg. After noticing a need for clean up, our very own Keith Jenkins spearheaded the implementation of this project for the club. Members came together for a purpose and enjoyed the beautiful day while helping the community.

We had a fantastic afternoon at the Fair Oaks Ranch Homeowners' Association’s Easter Egg Scramble this past weekend. More than 400 attendees came together to find eggs, enjoy a special visit from the Easter Bunny and hop in the bouncy house.
Registration and breakfast tacos will be available starting at 7:30am, with a shotgun start at 9:30am. Lunch is provided afterwards and we'll have a large selection of raffle as well as silent auction items. There will be a mens and womens long drive prize, plus there is a closest to the pin prize on each of the par 3's with Hole 12 offering a $30,000 Cash Prize for a hole-in-one. Cash prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishes.
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Rotary Club of San Antonio will host the inaugural San Antonio Duck Derby right at the Historic Pearl along the San Antonio River, bringing thousands of rubber ducks, families, and community supporters together for a one-of-a-kind event benefiting three deserving local nonprofits: Snack Pak 4 Kids San Antonio, SNIPSA and Rotary Club of San Antonio’s Kingdom for Kids.
