PDG Jerry Hardy Awarded Citation for Meritorious Service
D5840 awarded PDG Jerry Hardy The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service at the D5840 Foundation FUNdraiser on Friday, April 4th at Aggie Park Event Center. This award is given on behalf of The Rotary Foundation Trustees to an individual exhibiting outstanding service to our Foundation.

Oak Hills Volunteers at Food Bank 
The Rotary Club of San Antonio Oak Hills joined other volunteers at the San Antonio Food Bank to fill 816 boxes of food to fight hunger! Rotarians at work committed to service above self. 
Beeville Rotary Club Service Project
On what looked like a rainy day, Saturday, April 26th, the Beeville Rotary Club and the Rotaract Club worked together to clear-coat the Beeville Community's mural in the historic downtown district of Beeville.  Breakfast for all the volunteers was provided by the Beeville Rotary Club Service Committee.  Two coats of clear coat were painted on the mural.  The rain stayed away and the work was completed.
Helping the Future Leaders of Fair Oaks Ranch
Fair Oaks Ranch Rotarians recently presented big checks for several efforts that the club supports at Boerne Independent School District. Rotarians give funding for Campus Security Resource Officers, the Interact Club and the Incubator Group. Our support keeps our campuses safe and provides platforms for our future leaders to grow in charity and service.
Free Veterans Appreciation Breakfast 
This is an event the Rotary Club of Kerrville puts on twice a year to show our appreciation to our local veterans.
Earth Day with Brackenridge Park Cleanup
In April we recognize Earth Day -&- our Rotary Club of San Antonio, TX has been celebrating early and all year-round with our various environmental programs! Rotarians, Friends -&- Family came together to share the joy of #erviceAboveSelf at Brackenridge Park for River, Park -&- Cascarones cleanup.

San Marcos Presents Donation to School Fuel 
The Rotary Club of San Marcos presented a check for $2,500 to Molly Ann Rosas-Garcia left) of School Fuel San Marcos. Sharla and Glen Marshall (pictured) hosted a social event/fundraiser for Rotarians that raised the money. Last fall SMTX Rotary also donated $5,000 to School Fuel with the help of a District Grant.

H-E-B and Fabra Early Act Club Beautify Campus
The Fabra Early Act (EA) Club received a grant from HEB for $12,000 to plant trees on their campus. The trees will provide a buffer from the traffic noise from Interstate 10 when the students are on the playground while enhancing the beauty of the campus. This project was managed and coordinated by Naomi Jendrusch who is the on campus EA sponsor and member of the Boerne Rotary Club.

4 Wednesday - Food Wednesday
Our Rotary club, San Angelo Sunrise selects a recipient for food items once a month for each year. The past several year's we have chosen the University food pantry to help on and off campus students that need emergency food items. 
Hopping into Spring
The Rotary eClub of San Antonio, supporting Ed Franz Leadership Academy One Vowel at a time at their Literacy "Hopping into Spring" Family Night.
A Busy Two Months
The Rotary Club of Boerne has been very busy in March and April supporting their community. The Club fought against food poverty by providing needed items through Blessings in a Backpack and Hill Country Family Services.

Jourdanton Interact Club Completes Service Project 
The Jourdanton Interact Club, Jourdanton Rotary Club, and First Commercial Bank collected items to donate to 4God’s Children, an organization helping supply children in need in Mexico with hygiene products. Interact officers include Josiah Reyna, Haley Sralik, and Laney Briones.

Cross Mountain Improvement Project
Members of the Fredericksburg Nimitz Rotary and staff from the Parks and Recreation Dept. of the City of Fredericksburg gathered in front of the new gate and wall at the entrance to Cross Mountain Park. Funding for the project was the result of a 2-year fundraising effort on the part of the Nimitz Rotary. Last year the installation of a new cross atop Cross Mountain took place.
Seguin's Annual Fundraiser Drives Scholarship Success 
The Seguin Rotary Club held its annual fundraiser on May 1st, a resounding success thanks to the enthusiastic participation in the golf tournament, gala, and two exciting raffles. One raffle offered a grand prize of $20,000 in total value, while the other provided a thrilling choice between a trip to the prestigious Masters Golf Tournament or the iconic Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Blanco County Club Participates at Blanco ISD's Wellness Fair
Rotarians Pat Clewell Smith and Sandy Switzer represented Rotary at the Blanco CoAPT (Coalition of Awareness, Prevention, and Treatment of Substance Abuse) Wellness Fair held April 8. Students were provided information regarding human trafficking and information about Rotary and service projects worldwide. 
Groove On For A Good Cause
Rotarians got their Groove On for a Good Cause! Thursday Night Fever: Trivia Night at Mesquite Creek Outfitters Del Rio, hosted by Border Federal Credit Union, benefiting FOB Del Rio. All the proceeds will help furnish temporary housing for local veterans.

A Horse Of Course! The Open T.R.A.I.L. Ranch provides equine therapy for at-risk members of our community

Dominion Rotary and Blood Bank Car Show
The Dominion Rotary Club, in conjunction with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center will host their 2nd Annual Car Show and Blood Drive on May 17, 2025, at the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center Donor Pavilion located at 6211 IH-10 West at First Park Ten Boulevard, San Antonio, Texas. This event will start at 10 am and conclude at 3 pm with awards.

Public Relations Class Assists San Marcos With Event Promotion 
San Marcos Rotary is grateful to Professor Charles Kaufman's Public Relations Campaign class in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University. Six PR students served as a PR team to assist Rotary with creating promotional materials for its May 16 Scramble 4 Scholarships, funding scholarships for San Marcos area high school seniors.
