Our President Elects and Assistant Governors attended PETS and are returning to our clubs with a renewed inspiration to make each club the best it can be in the next Rotary Year! We also recognize the theme for March which is Water and Sanitation. We're reminded of the fundamental role clean water and sanitation play in building healthy communities.

There will be a Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 8:30AM to 4:30PM at the Northwest Vista College,3535 N Ellison Dr, San Antonio, TX 78251. Click for map. Classes will begin at 9AM. The institute is $50 and is open to all Rotarians. Click to Register.
All six long term inbound Rotary Youth Exchange students were treated to a day at the San Antonio Rodeo and Stock Show. They enjoyed the rodeo, a performance by Keann Rimes , and a tour and delicious lunch by the San Antonio Stock Show International Committee. The students were chaperoned by Rotarians Isabela Hertz, Kyle Emmons, Kent Fischer, Ruben Cardenas, Vickie Luckenbach, and Carl Luckenbach.
The Rotary Club of Boerne combines fundraising with patriotism by putting up USA flags at local businesses for a number of National holidays. For a nominal yearly donation, those business owners who want to express their patriotism can have Rotarians put up flags at their business location. The result is a sense of pride throughout downtown Boerne as flags fly and people celebrate our nation.
Every first Friday of the month, before the sun rises, Dominion Rotary and CPS Energy volunteers gather to make a meaningful impact on the lives of graduating Air Force and Space Command recruits. This initiative, known as Operation Gratitude, begins promptly at 6 am and continues until over 1,000 recruits have received care packages as they embark on their technical training journeys.
The Rotary Club of Fredericksburg held its annual Cupid's Bow Bash on Friday, February 14, 2025 -- actually happened on Valentine's Day for a change! More than 200 people attended the Cupid's Bow Bash, which also marked the 75th anniversary of the Club's chartering in 1950.
The Rotary Club of San Antonio completed its 28th Kingdom for Kids playground build at Autism Community Network. Over two days (Feb 21 & Feb 22) volunteers built two play structures, landscaped the campus, built benches & created murals for the fence line.
The New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung recently honored their 2022-2024 Pillars of the Community and 16 of the 25 honorees are members of the Rotary Club of New Braunfels, including the 2024 Pillar of the Year, past president Felicia James.
Pillars of the Community is a recognition program of New Braunfels Monthly magazine, in which a standout New Braunfels resident is recognized in each monthly issue as one of the community’s Pillars and is selected for their contributions to the community.
The Rotary Club of San Antonio South, in collaboration with the Salado Elementary PTSA, has funded a much-needed water bottle filling station for students. Located in the East Central ISD, Salado Elementary is an older school facility where students previously lacked an easy way to refill water bottles, and some fountains were not even functional.
After an emotional and heartwarming presention by Inna Adamovich, founder of STAYWITHUKRAINE INC, and her husband Alex at the January 7 club meeting The Rotary Club of Blanco County collected pledges from its members to provide medical supplies for Ukraine. The board agreed that the club would "match" the member donation up to a total match limit of $2,000.
Neighbors helping Neighbors! The Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary club presented a huge check to Meals on Wheels Kendall County to help them prepare and deliver meals to our senior citizens. Way to go Rotarians!
