San Marcos' Mardi Gras Casino Night

ROTARY SPONSORS MARDI GRAS CASINO NIGHT AT AIR FORCE MUSEUM The Rotary Club of San Marcos is hosting a Mardi Gras theme Casino Night fundraiser on Friday, February 13 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. La Cima will again serve as the Presenting Sponsor for this special event.  The event will be held at the Centex Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Museum, 2249 Airport Road,  San Marcos. The event features gaming, Cajun food, beer and wine, prizes and a $15,000 diamond raffle. Attendees are encouraged to wear beads, masks, and other Mardi Gras accessories. The Museum hanger will be festively decorated for The Sweethearts’ Mardi Gras theme. Co-chairing the event this year are Peter Baen and Sharla Marshall. Sharla said about the event, “This is a great annual community event that has raised thousands of dollars to support local charities who share Rotary’s values of “Service Above Self”. This year it is extra special because it is right before Valentine’s Day so it is a terrific opportunity for sweethearts to have a fun night out.“ Proceeds this year will benefit Rotary club service projects, including funding for the new “Dick Burdick / Rotary International Scholarship” at Texas State University
