Fredericksburg-Nimitz Rotary President Debbi McCurdy (center) presents a check for $2,145 to Linday Closson representing FBG Mopco by MOPS, a local faith-based group for moms. The funds were raised at Texas Heritage Vineyards quarterly Bingo and Vino for a Cause event held in March.
The Beeville Rotary Club has been actively promoting literacy through various initiatives. One of their successful projects is donating the "I Like Me Series" to kindergartens in the city, which has brought joy to many school children.
Forty one Interactors and their sponsors responded to the call from the District Governor to string 1,000 origami cranes. At the start of her Rotary year, District Governor Monica challenged every Rotary club to fold 20 cranes as part of her wish to bring mental health awareness to our communities as part of our RI President’s goal for Mental Health.

The Rotary Club of Boerne sponsors the Fabra Elementary Early Act Club under the guidance of Rotarian Naomi Jendrusch. With the help of Kathy Webster, Certified Master Naturalist, approximately twenty Fabra students put native plants in 3 areas at their school this past month.
