Hosted by the Rotary Club of New Braunfels at the historic Stelzenplatz on the Wurstfest Grounds, this year’s Hill Country Craft Beer Festival shattered all previous records. With approximately 1,500 attendees (including volunteers), it achieved the highest grossing sales in festival history and raised an impressive $69,000 in sponsorship dollars—the most ever. People sampled selections from over 35 breweries and wineries, 150+ beers and wines were poured, and the festival featured the first annual Steinholding qualifier sanctioned by the US Steinholding Association.
From day one, the festival has been known for its combination of live music, local food trucks, and community energy—and this year was no exception. We featured multiple live bands, food vendors, and a cashless experience powered by RFID wristbands for smooth sales and service . None of it would be possible without the dedication of over 250 volunteers: your effort and enthusiasm make everything come together!
Best part of all, $50,000 ofhe festival proceeds were gifted to directly support the New Braunfels Youth Collaborative (NBYC)—a nonprofit committed to empowering youth in grades 6–12.
NBYC partners with educators, nonprofits, and community leaders to create an inclusive, dynamic environment where teens can thrive intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. Their new flagship project, the Mill Street Youth Center, transformed the historic former high school and administration building at 430 W. Mill Street into a thriving space offering programs, mentorship, creative opportunities, and a safe place for connection and growth.
