The Rotary Club of Boerne has been very busy in March and April supporting their community. The Club fought against food poverty by providing needed items through Blessings in a Backpack and Hill Country Family Services.
This Club has encouraged positive values among youth through its sponsoring of Boerne’s Boy Scout Troop 102 and sponsoring Fabra School’s Early Act Club. This month the Boy Scouts gave the Club members a presentation on the history of scouting and this troop’s community programs. The Early Act Club members planted trees outside their school to provide shade when students are playing outside. Rotarians also volunteered at the Boerne Outdoor Family Fair this month as they lived out their commitment to “Service Above Self”.
