On July 31, members of the Rotary Club of Blanco County rolled up their sleeves, collecting litter along their adopted stretch of Ranch Road 2325. Equipped with safety vests, gloves, and trash bags, Rotarians worked together to help keep one of Blanco County's scenic roadways clean and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
Twenty bags were filled, and a few other interesting items were collected - part of a toilet, approximately 100 ft of fiberoptic cable, and numerous aluminum cans! The Adopt-a-Highway program is just one of the many ways the Rotary Club deomonstrates its commitment to "Service Above Self."
