On November 6, 2025, volunteers from the San Antonio Airport Rotary Club gathered at the Children’s Bereavement Center, located at 205 W. Olmos, to support families attending evening grief support groups. The purpose of the project was to provide hands-on assistance by serving dinner—courtesy of the Center— and helping with cleanup, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for children, teens, and families coping with loss.
Volunteers coordinated arrival at the back entrance, wore Rotary shirts to represent the club, and worked together to serve meals and assist staff, demonstrating Rotary’s commitment to “Service Above Self.
