The Rotary Club of San Marcos is sponsoring Rise Against Hunger on Sat., Oct. 16 from 9-Noon. Volunteers will pack 15,000 meals for shipment to Africa.
The Wimberley and Kyle clubs are partners and are sending volunteers, as has the Rotaract Club at Texas State University. The project needs 100 volunteers so District 5840 Rotarians are encouraged to help. When Rotary did Rise Against Hunger in Bastrop they said Rotarians came from five counties to help.
