The Rotary Club of Blanco County (RCBC) recently presented a check for $1700 to the Blanco Fire and EMS Auxiliary President, Caroline Richardson. The funds will be used by the Fire and EMS organizations for essential equipment, such as equipping the newest fire fighting vehicle, Tender 82, and purchasing various medical equipment, all to better serve the Blanco community.
The check was presented by Doug McKenzie, President-elect of the RCBC, who, along with his wife Teri, are owners of RE/MAX Genesis Realty in Blanco. The McKenzies also prepared and presented a delicious Thanksgiving meal, with all the trimmings, enjoyed by the on-duty First Responders.
