August was an incredibly busy and meaningful month for the Rotary Club of San Antonio North Central, as members demonstrated their commitment to building a brighter future for generations to come—both at home and around the world. The club celebrated three outstanding high school students by presenting scholarship awards to Jenna Carlson, Zoe Cronenberger and Luke Pruske.

These scholarships are an investment in the dreams and potential of the next generation, and the club wishes each of them great success as they begin their next educational journeys.
San Antonio North Central also celebrated the power of international friendship and cultural exchange with a visit from Tomoko and Shodai from Takamatsu, Japan. Their visit provided an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between the club and its sister Rotary Club in Japan while fostering the international understanding that is at the heart of Rotary's mission.
The month ended with a bittersweet celebration as the club said farewell on August 29 to Damian Dominguez, a bright young exchange student who is beginning a year-long journey in Treviso, Italy. As Damian represents San Antonio North Central and his home community abroad, club members sent him off with their thoughts, encouragement and very best wishes for an unforgettable year.
From supporting students pursuing their education to welcoming international guests and sending a young ambassador abroad, San Antonio North Central Rotary is helping create opportunities, build connections and make a difference that reaches far beyond its own community.
