The Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary is thrilled to welcome our newest Youth Exchange student, Tobia, who has traveled all the way from the historic, canal-lined streets of Venice, Italy, to join our community for the upcoming year. Tobia touched down in San Antonio on August 3rd, where our club gathered at the airport to give him a huge, true-blue Texas welcome the moment he stepped off the plane.
The festivities kicked into high gear on August 13th, when the Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary threw Tobia a proper Texas-style welcome party at the home of Debbie and Bud Martin. Tobia is now jumping straight into the American high school experience as a Charger at Boerne Champion High School! A special thank you to Jaime and Kathy Sepulveda, who are serving as Tobia's initial host family and opening their home to guide him through his first chapter in Texas. As the school year gets under way, we can't wait to watch him embrace every opportunity, try new things, and see what incredible adventures unfold during his time here in the Lone Star State!
