Hurricane Dorian left part of the Bahamas devastated. Rotarians always respond with help very quickly. Reading the article from District 6990 the need is for cash and they are set up to accept donations. As was the experience with Harvey, lots of stuff arrives and can not be used or is the wrong stuff. Cash can help buy the right stuff and right services. Please see the Donation section and be generous. We always remember how Rotarians around the world were generous with Harvey.

A large group from Wimberley Rotary helped out at the Back-to-School Fiesta Saturday at the United Methodist Church. We distributed and provided backpacks and handed out books to all the kids who wanted one. I'd say 400 or so children went through the Fiesta, and we gave out probably 200 to 300 books. This is just one of our programs in our Rotary Loves Readers project.
